Sorry for being MIA, but I got hit with a flu the past week and have been staying in bed, I am on the mend though and plan on taking photos and list new items this afternoon. This weekend we took the kids and their cousins to the pumpkin patch and spent half of our day there; eating roasted corn, finding the perfect pumpkin, riding hayride, and just enjoying the unbelievable sunny weather.

not really...as much as I want to blog about a DIY project I recently did and list new items in the shop I'm taking the day off and heading off to the lake again to cool off.  It's 92 degrees today.  It's inevitable.

I think my kids adores vintage as much as I do. They love to take part in the whole process...

from our series of thrifting adventures...

to photography - they love to get their little hands on everything...

to cleaning and testing to make sure everything is in good working order...

and sometimes modelling...

but with things piling up around my house, it may likely be the opposite. They may grow up and start a blog like this and develop high level of mental anxiety which may result in years of adult theraphy. hahaha!

It was my birthday yesterday. It feels really weird hitting the big 40, such a big number. But happy and grateful to have the things I can only dream of when I was 30. And lookie what I got! Some flowers, cards and a new lens baby!!

seven years

seven years ago today my husband and I got married. It was one of the most special days of my adult life. Though there are certainly highs and lows of being married, I can honestly say that each years that passed I am finding something much deeper than happiness in our relationship-- contentment. Here's to many many more years!
