These collection of rainbow mugs mostly from the 80's were thrifted from
Deseret. I got them just a couple days before the
kids 5th birthday which I planned with colorful rainbow theme which by the way was the easiest themed party I've ever planned. I used them to hold candies and nuts and also tied a couple of balloons to used as centerpieces. They will be listed in the
shop soon.
Oh man, these are great!
ReplyDelete(Also - just wanted to let you know that I featured Modish Vintage in a small post on my blog today...I've been a fan for such a long time! http://www.ohmeaghan.com/2010/09/vintage-marvelous-modish-vintage.html)
Hi Meaghan- thanks for delurking, I see "oh ginger" often hearts my new finds, and then I look into your shop only to find it is currently closed? thanks for stopping by and for the wonderful feature!
ReplyDeleteThat's me! I have your shop feed in my Google Reader and I immediately click over and heart new stuff! And you always have the best stuff, too.
ReplyDeleteOh Ginger will open soon...hopefully early to mid October. I have a bunch of finished pieces in my Flickr in the meantime, though!
What a cool find for the rainbow party! I used to thrift at Deseret Industries when I lived in Utah. Used to call it "D.I.", and I found lots of cool stuff there. I think it's a western thing though- we don't have them out here...
ReplyDeleteJennie- I love Deseret, I think it's the least expensive thrift shop around here and there's only two in WA state, I found lots of treasures there.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! I collect rainbow mugs too!
