I came upon this new, up-and-coming vintage Etsy shop 1001vintage the other day, (thanks to the awesome MMMC for her post and connections) and have gone back many times perusing their pages and checking new items.  The shop is based in Amsterdam and is full of well-selected modern pieces home décor and lighting, they have the most gorgeous vases to die for, it was really hard not to click on most of their items and placing them in my cart  to purchase.

I have a confession; every once in while when I'm bored and curious, I Google people's name and mine (ok only my shop's name, my real name is off the grid on Google) to find out what is being written about my shop.  The other night I couldn't sleep got up at 3 am and did just that... lo and behold saw a link with my shop's name and my photos on a glossy spread of  this magazine.  Yay, I love Google, I love you more Scout Magazine!

After some sleepless nights, brainstorming, and a couple of discerning eyes gave me some feedback on my Etsy shop; I went to Home Depot this morning and started to begin the first step on making some changes in my shop which currently involves…

This last photo is the Surrealist art that I've won from an estate auction last week. It's a nice one although I can't make out the artists' signature. If anyone could help me identify this mystery artist will receive a surprise gift from the shop.
