estate auction loot: part 1

It was a very nice and relaxing weekend, cold but glad it wasn’t snowing yet (I'm not too fond of snow) or raining, I was able to do a good couple of hours shooting items to list this week. Took the kiddies to Chucky Cheese on Saturday (after hearing someone in their class mentioned “chuckycheese” it’s all they ever wanted to do the whole week).

We also did some Christmas (window) shopping at the mall, it’s been ages since I’ve visited the mall, of course I didn’t buy anything but it was nice to just walk around and see their holiday décor and window shop, treated the kids to some ice cream and carousel ride.

Sunday was spent holiday decorating. Hubby dug the old fake tree from the basement and I decorated it with the kids. I also took out the vintage train set I got from a previous estate sale and put it under the tree. It looks lovely under there but not so sure if it's a good idea; the kids can't keep their hands off it. I’ll post some photos and share them here soon.

So anyhoo, here’s part one of the estate auction loot from last week. I didn’t have enough time to take photos of everything so I’ll break it in two parts. Most of the things I've won are in groups or collections...

Collection 1: colourful glass bottles

Collection 2: wooden animal figures

Collection 3: owls

And this framed Larson NW watercolor of Boats and the two crystal compotes I filled with new and vintage ornaments.

I will be listing all of these at some point, except for the items on the last photo. I think I'll keep the painting for a while. If you're interested in purchasing what you see here, just email or convo me thru my shop.

  1. Yay- loot!!! I love the little animals :) I like how you said you'll keep the painting "for awhile"- that's how I often think of some of my finds too. Have a great week!
