weekend find

I must be thinking so much about tea cups, tea pots and tea parties from my last post and this weekend came upon this exquisite vintage Imperial Russian porcelain tea set for two in mint condition. Price tag: $15!

If this isn't what you call power of suggestion, I don't know what is.

I will be revealing my next huge give-away and big sale coming up at Modish Vintage this week. Stay tuned!

  1. Wow! Where do you find these things?! I scour my favorite thrift stores often, usually for fabric and have made some lovely finds, but nothing like this. Mmmm...actually, I've found a few nice pieces at our local consignment shop now that I think of it.

  2. Melinda, I know I feel like I'm having this lucky streak in my thrifting lately. I found this yesterday at a local Goodwill shop on their collectible department.

  3. Really, Goodwill?! That's great. We have a few Salvation Army stores but they don't seem to get the best stuff. The Hospice shops or other small thrift stores seem to have more interesting items. Best wishes for continuing to find gems!
