Yesterday, the kids and I strolled the forest (is what they call the backyard) and they helped me rake the leaves and pine needles and I snapped some photos of what may be the last buds of summer.
Beautiful! I cannot accept that summer is drawing to a close. Fall is my favorite of the seasons, but we wait so very long for this one.
