my one year etsy-versary giveaway!

It’s been one year today since I listed my first batch of vintage items on Etsy, and I still remember the sheer excitement when I sold my first item (an orange Pyrex casserole). Well, it has been an enjoyable and amazing year and as a little celebration and appreciation for all the wonderful customers from all over the world who came by the shop, who peek, bought, and returned to do more shopping, I am offering a 20% storewide sale event from April 1st thru April 7th. You can read more details about the sale here.

I’m also offering a fun giveaway for everyone which includes the following:

A bundle of vintage fabrics. Six different patterns in different colours at about half yard each.

Mid-century red apple tin canister in very good condition.

A beautiful floral English tin in terrific condition.

Four set of plastic stackable shakers made by Tupperware in the 60s.

Here’s how you can win:

  • Leave a comment between now and next Tuesday (April 7th) at 10:00 p.m. EST after which I will pick the winner using random number generator. Please share a personal milestone or success story big or small.

  • If you mention this giveaway on your blog, leave a second comment to let me know so you get an extra chance to win.

  • This contest is open to everyone worldwide, I will pay for the shipping.

  • Please include a way to reach you in your comment so I can email the lucky winner for their postage address.

Thank you!!

  1. Cathy - great giveaway items!!! My milestone is that in 2 1/2 weeks, I will be doing my first craft fair. I'm mostly excited, slightly terrified, and suddenly realizing how much more work I have to do. I'll be sharing a table with two Etsy friends so it should be fun.

  37. Hello there!

A personal milestone for me was being brave enough to tell the person I liked that I liked him. He didn't like me back, but it strengthened our friendship, oddly, and left me free to pursue other people.

Sometimes hard things are blessings in disguise.

  38. Wow, what a giveaway - and a great milestone for you! My family had an enormous milestone just yesterday: my husband joined the Army. We made the decision together and I have no doubt that it's right - but I am still reeling (and will probably be for a while)!

  50. Congratulations on your etsy-versary! I love all the items in your giveaway, especially the red apple canister!
I'm still studying so I haven't attained anything important in any workfield yet. However, on a personal level the past two years have been an overwhelming source of life lessons. I broke up with a frenemy after some years(yes, shame on me!) of emotional blackmailing, and I haven't even considered getting him back since!
I'm extremely proud of myself for believing in my own possibilities, no matter how difficult my background makes life for me. I had to put a lot of effort in regaining my sense of worth, but it (and I) was worth it! I think terminating this period of trouble in such a positive way, will always be a personal milestone for me.
